It was the chase card of 2026 Topps Chrome, and one of the most ambitious objects the modern hobby has assembled.
A back-to-back Gold Logoman is the hardest thing a modern set can promise: not one Logoman patch but two, each authenticated to a specific game and a specific swing, brought together on a card that exists exactly once. Topps issued it in 2026 Topps Chrome, released July 22, as a redemption. It was pulled on July 30 at a shop in Boca Raton, Florida, and sold within a day in a private transaction reported at $11 million — by public accounting the third-largest sum ever paid for a sports card. That figure appears nowhere in our data and never will: the sale was private, with no auction, no public hammer and no archive anyone can check. We record what can be shown. What isn't in question is the object — a one-of-one pairing the game's most singular active player with two pieces of the uniform he made history in, signed in both of his languages. The card itself has not yet been assembled; what changed hands was the redemption.
