Aaron Judge's 2013 Bowman Draft card, #BDPP19, is the paper twin of his Chrome prospect card, with the same number and photograph.
The same number and the same photograph, on paper.
Bowman made every Draft Pick in both stocks that year. The paper card has its own ladder of parallels: Silver Ice about one in 24 hobby packs, Blue to 500, Orange to 250, Red Ice to 25, Purple Ice to 10, Red and Orange Ice to 5, and Black and Black Ice cards of one.
The picture is the same: Judge in the Yankees' road gray, NEW YORK across the chest, a navy NY helmet, a blue sleeve on his front arm, the bat cocked. On paper the photograph is softer and the green of the ballpark behind him shows through. The Bowman logo sits at the upper left, OF at the right, and his name runs on a dark plate at the foot.
He did not reach the majors for nearly three years. He made his debut on August 13, 2016, and homered in his first at-bat.
Then came the 52 home runs of 2017, the 62 of 2022, three Most Valuable Player awards, and the captaincy of the Yankees.
