Victor Wembanyama's Optic Rated Rookie is #225 in 2023-24 Donruss Optic, issued at about the time he was named Rookie of the Year.

The set had 250 cards, the veterans at #1 through #200 and the Rated Rookies at #201 through #250. A hobby box held twenty packs of four with one autograph, and there were Fast Break and Choice boxes besides, each with its own parallels. The hobby run went from Holo and Photon through Aqua at 249 and Red at 99 down to a Gold Vinyl of one.

He turns toward the camera in the Spurs' black jersey, number 1, the ball held at his chest, inside a black frame worked with white maze patterns and two slashes of bright blue. The RATED ROOKIE logo sits at the lower left in the same maze pattern, the Optic logo at the upper right, and his name runs diagonally across the bottom over SPURS.

Every first-place vote, in his first season.

The award was announced on May 6, 2024. Every first-place vote went to him, the first unanimous winner since Karl-Anthony Towns.

He had also led the league in blocks, the first of three seasons in a row.
