Victor Wembanyama's base Prizm rookie is #136 in 2023-24 Panini Prizm, which reached the shops in February 2024.
The set had 300 cards and more than sixty parallels, from unnumbered Silver, Ice and Hyper through Red at 299 and Purple at 99 down to a Black of one. The Silver is our roster card. This is the card beneath it. A twenty-card set of Rookie Variations also includes a #136 of its own.
Prizm's dark frame is cut into a sort of stage. SPURS sits on a white plate at the top. He stands nearly upright in the Spurs' black jersey, number 1, dribbling with his left hand, his figure running nearly the full height of the card. The RC shield sits at the upper right, and his name runs across the bottom above the Prizm logo.
Standing nearly upright, he fills the card from top to bottom.
By the time it came out he had been a professional for four months, and the season was going the way it would end: the league lead in blocked shots, a five-by-five game on February 24, and a Rookie of the Year vote that was unanimous, 99 ballots of 99.
He was the first French player to win it.
