In short. MySlabs adds a 1% buyer’s premium to the hammer price. Selling there costs 3.0%.
No house pays to appear here or to appear higher. What follows is what MySlabs publishes, or has told us directly, with the date we last checked. It is not a recommendation, and nothing here is a view on what your cards are worth. We also buy cards ourselves; that has no bearing on anything written here.
Nobody takes the collection off your hands here. You photograph, describe, price, pack and ship each card yourself.
The buyer's premium at MySlabs is 1% of the hammer price. A 1% buyer/usage fee rather than an auction premium. PayPal goods-and-services fees may apply on top.
It is paid by the winning bidder, not by you — but bidders know it is coming, so it shapes what they are willing to bid.
Know roughly what is there first — which cards matter, and which are graded. Price against what the same card at the same grade has actually sold for, not what others are asking. Insure anything valuable when you ship it, and for a card worth thousands, compare what an auction house would charge before you list.
