In 1985 Star made a nine-card set for the players in that February’s NBA Slam Dunk contest, and Jordan is #7. Dominique Wilkins won that year; Jordan, a rookie, finished second. The card puts him where people remember him from those first seasons: above the rim, before he had won anything.
It comes from the same small Star production as his rookie, and collectors building the early Jordan run tend to want it.

Star sold its cards in small numbers through hobby dealers, often in sealed bags, so a clean, well-centered copy is hard to find.
